If you use Google to search, and you haven't created a custom Google home page yet – are you in for a treat.
If you already have an account with Google (for instance, through Google's free Gmail service), just sign in. To create a new account, visit this link. Then click the "Personalized Home" link at the top of the main Google page.
Now you'll see a page with news headlines, a weather update and a little more information. But it's about to get a lot more interesting. Click that "Add Content" link in the upper left-hand corner, and a sidebar appears allowing you to add bookmarks, your Gmail inbox, headlines from news sources, local movie info, your browser search history, or a feed from any blog (or other newsfeed source) you want.
Mix and match or drag and drop to your heart's content, and you'll have a page that combines Google search with a customized hub of constantly refreshed information.
