Setting up your personal online calendar

First go to: http://www.planzo.com/

Second try out a demo Planzo at: http://demo.planzo.com/

Third set up your own calendar.

For this you'll need to return to the home page of Planzo and click on the Join Now button.

  • Fill in the new account details as requested. Note: if your calendar is for a group, place the group name in the Desired Username box. If multiple words, separate by an underscore.
  • Next choose a site design from the templates available.
  • Verify your email and check out the next steps. Note: you'll find that the calendar will have the first name of the text you put in the desired username box.
  • Add events that are critical pieces of information for your group or yourself. That part is really simple, just double click on a particular time in any day of the calendar and start typing. You just need to enter the title and start and finish times, details are optional.
  • Notify your group members or your friends by sending them the Planzo URL for your new calendar.
  • Now have some fun trying out the various functions available on top left, such as:

a. uploading your photo
b. editing personal information
c. account settings
d. privacy settings
e. sharing/notification
f. customise site's look

  • Next have even more fun exploring the various functions on the top menu, such as:

a. notebook (useful for uploading files)
b. todo (useful for your own task list)
c. what are my friends up to (useful for planning meetings)

  • Finally explore the Wall in the lower right hand corner of the calendar. Note: you can event share your calendar on your blog or website by using the RSS feed.
